Random doodles

Oh man it's been a long while since my last post...been busy working on animation stuff for Axe Cop and a new show titled Major Lazer. Hope to update a bit more oven here. I do tend to use Instagram and Tumbler for updating work my where abouts. 

I will have a booth space at this coming San Diego Comic Con! Will update with more info in that closer to the con...hope to see some of you there! :)

Sketches

It's been awhile since I have posted here...been busy working on the second season of Axe Cop. Also working on number of pitch packets for animated projects with number of talented writers. Have done some pitch meetings so far and they went all well. Hopefully, things will develop for one or two of these projects. 

It's fun to develop project from the start and see them through by creating the characters and story their in.

Check Please!

Hey Party People!

Just wanted to let you know about a very cool project that's trying to get funding through Kickstarter.
It's called "Check Please!" a 80 page art book filled with art drawn on guest checks....by many talented artists! I even contributed a few pieces to this project...it would be totally awesome to get to see this book printed. Please, give it a look...hopefully you got a few bucks to spare? Also please spread the word on this project to your friends and family! :)

Gargantuan Artbook for Sale Online

Hey all wanted to make sure everyone is having a wonderful Summer! So hopefully all are doodling away in their sketchbooks as well...right? 

It's been a week since going and exhibiting at the San Diego Comic-Con...there was a crap load of people as always...Myself and the artists at the booth did pretty well sale wise. The main thing was to promote ourselves and get a chance to meet so many awesome folks that stopped by the booth. 

For those that didn't get a chance to make it to SDCC this year...it's ok...you can still pick up a copy of my new art book Gargantuan through here at my blog...as you can see on the right of this page. :P

I'm charging $13 for Gargantuan plus shipping and handling of $5. I also ship internationally which will cost $12 You'll also get a quick sketch in the book as will. If you act now...I'll throw in a 5x7 print of a creature.

CTN...will you be there?

Hello party people! wanted to let you all know I'll be attending CTN this coming weekend...I'll be at table T-102. It will be my first time doing this show by getting a table space...I have attended this show before for the past three years...I really enjoy myself there. Lots of cool folks to meet there.

I will be selling copies of my sketchbook, Japon! There will be prints and original art for sale as well. Plus I will be doing sketches (commissions) as well at the show. Hit me up here if you like to be put on the sketch list. Sketches will be $20. New York was nutty for my this year...better to start that list early.
But if one wants to do a bigger commission (higher price) it will need to be done after the show.

I hope to see some of you there..it would be great to chat with some of you! :)

Nueva York Comic Con

Hey all! It's been awhile since my last post. Been busy in my end...from going to NYC for the NY Comic Con to moving into my office space at Titmouse Animation in Hollywood.
Here's a few pics for you all to check out on my trip.
Overall NYCC was pretty good...it was crowded with folks walking the aisles. Tickets sold out right before the con started as well. I did well in selling my latest sketchbook, Japon. I even did quite a few sketches/commissions for folks. It was great to get a chance to talk to new con goers whom normally wouldn't be able to attend west coast conventions like San Diego. I'm really thinking of doing it again next year...let see. :)

Comikaze 2012

Hey all wanted to share some doodles I did this past weekend at Comikaze. It was held at the LA Convention Center. There were a bunch of folks in Saturday...a long line to get in. With the sun beating down on those folks on that line...it was not fun.
The folks that run Comikaze should have been better prepared for this also other things during the con didn't run as smoothly as well.
Sunday was a disappointment...sakes wise...the crowds were less than Saturday. If I do this convention again I will go and artist alley instead of a 10x10...it's way cheaper. Plus they want to add an extra day...and charge more...I say forget that! Now they're doing Comic con prices...but without the comic con crowds with money to spend. Oh well I can stop venting now. I want to wish you all a great day! Also remember there's 9 more day on the GEEK Kickstarter please help spread the word and support if you can!

GEEK! Page Uno

Hey all! Wanted to share with you the the pencils to page one of GEEK! It's ready to be inked...but I'm thinking in inking this page separately...instead of placing inks on top of the pencils. To see how it looks...granted this will be more work, but it nice to see the pencils and inks separated.
I'll be uploaded to next three soon. Also wanted to let you know we still need to spread the word on the Kickstarter campaign for GEEK! We need support in reaching our goal...thank you all that want to help! :)
