I'm not here to dance...

Here’s a piece I did of the Sky Capt for my students for class. Done in straight pencils and using a pose of another drawing as a guide. Let me know what you all think?

I have to say that I’m really proud with my students last night they’re all doing a wonderful job on the Sky Capt project.
Now, let's see how they handle the new project that I threw in their way? I’ll catch you all later.

Cheers,
Axel

The Dark Knight...

Hey all, how's everyone doing with their summer? Hopefully having fun and getting inspired?

Well, I wanted to share my latest piece of Batman here. It was done in straight inks using pigment linear pens on Canson bristol board. I'm thinking that I should use some a brush on the next Batman piece...also it should speed up the drawing processes...this piece took sometime to do. Hopefully you guys and gals like it. I'll see about adding some colors to it.

Till next time, I'll catch you all later.

Hmmm...what to do next?

Here's the line art of Joe I did as a demo for my students last night. I inked this piece using a nice watercolor brush size 0 and Black India ink. I also use a pigment linear pen for some of the details. I'll will like to color this pieces soon.

Had a not so great day today....and yesterday was sooo great.

Well, I'll catch you all later.

The Boys colored.

Hey all, here's the boys colored up. Let me know what you all think? I inked the line art traditionally with a brush. The colors were done using Photoshop. I liked how they came out. But let see how I'll feel about them in the future. These pieces were done for a pitch packet I'm putting together. I'll talk about this project in the future.

This past Friday at the Hold Up gallery for the opening...I sold 5 pieces that night. Maybe more will be sold in the future?

Well, I'll catch you all later.
