Comic Con 2012

Hello all...wanted to share a few pics from this past Comic Con in San Diego. Overall is was a good show..I did fell a bit short in my sales of my sketchbook...I gave myself a minimum number to hit for my sales goal. I did sell some prints and original artwork as well.
Running back and forth to two spots on the floor was a bit much...but it was cool...but my back was really hurting throughout the convention.
Hopefully I'll get that Artist Alley table or Exhibtor table next year.
I'm looking into doing other conventions this Fall. New York Convention and Comikaze! Maybe Long Beach Comic Con. I'm looking into CTN as well in November which should be a cool show.

Creature Box-Kickstarter!

Agent 88-Kickstarter!!!

Hello All! I want to let you know that my buddy Digger Mesch has started a Kickstarter campaign for his web series' pilot for Agent 88! Please visit the page and if you can...donated a few bucks....or more if you can? :) This is such an awesome project that should get funded! I had the opportunity to work on this project...doing some character and prop designs plus some storyboards as well. Did a night of shooting...did some extra work. :P Such a fun project to work on! Come on everyone...we really gotta make this project happen! I'll catch you all later. :)

A commission piece I did back in 08 at Comic Con...a gentleman by the name of Rich Greenwood paid for this sketch....but never picked it up. So I've been taking it back with me every year since...hoping that I can give it to him. Well, I'm ready to drive out to San Diego tomorrow. Gonna be at Comic Con San Diego?

Hey All! Wanted to let you all know I'll be heading down to San Diego for the Comic Con this coming Wednesday. I hope many of you can make it? I'll be at booth #5557 under Essential Sequential...I'll be sharing space there with 5 other great artists...please stop by to say, "Hi" I'll also will be at the Artist Alley covering for my bud, Eric at DD-10. I'll be selling copies of my latest sketchbook, Japon....plus prints! I'll also will be taking on commissions as well. It will be great to get a chance to walk around the floor...even though it's going to be packed to the gills with Con goers...stop by other artist booths and hopefully pick up some great sketchbooks and art books from those creative talent. I will be there for the whole thing from Preview night till 5pm on Sunday. I've been taking my vitamins and hitting the gym to prepare. :P Well, I'll catch you all later. Cheers, Axel

Hey all wanted to let you know that tomorrow night at the Petra Gallerie, www.petragallerie.com there will be a new opening! The 13th Sign Mask Show...there will be a display of cool ass mask done by awesome artists from the Los Angeles area.

Hello all,
I did one day of E3 this past week at the L.A. Convention Center...there were plenty to see...some cool games coming up. I like some of the booth presentation. But to compare from past E3...this was less crowded...granted there were lots of people...but it wasn't as bad like Cimic Con bad...SDCC is a whole other beast. Well I snapped a few pictures of the gaming expo and wanted to share with you all.
I need to post up more stuff into this blog...with some updated doodles. I'll wish you all a great night.

Long Beach One Day Convention

Hello all...hopefully everyone had a great weekend. Well, I had a table in artist alley this past Saturday over at LBCC. I really wasn't excepting much...I did alright in sales of my new sketchbook, Japon. I also sold some prints plus some commission sketches as well. It kind of prep me up for Comic Con in San Diego in July. I'll be in artist alley there sharing space with my great friend, Eric. We'll also be selling stuff plus making appearance at another booth...more info will come...with dates time and booth #'s.
