Long Beach Comic Con!

Hello all! Wanted to let you know that I will be at the Long Beach Comic Con this coming Saturday, May 12...It's one day convention which is pretty cool. I'll be located in Artist Alley near my buddy Eric...I think? But I'm listed as Alex Ortiz...not Axel...oh well. :P If you happen to be free that day swing on by and stop by the table. I'll be selling copies of my new sketchbook, "Japon". I will be doing a quick sketch inside each copy of book that is sold. Prints will be available for sale as well. I will also be doing detail sketches starting at $20...one can place an order of a full commission starting at $100.
Well, I'll hope to see some of you there.  Have a productive week. Remember to doodle like a mad man! ...or mad woman? :P

Hey all wanted to let you know about the upcoming show at Petra this coming Saturday night! I will have a piece there on display for this cool event, ¡Una Noche en la Mesa!
Anyone and everyone are welcome to come by and chill for bit. There will be lovely pieces on display that are inspired by the story from the book
Plus there will be a reading as well from a chapter.

Puppy Sketches

Hello all! Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend. Well, wanted to share a sheet of rough pencils for a project I'm working on. I do have to say it's coming along nicely. Hopefully the funding will come in soon. I think this IP is gonna kick butt once it goes live out in the world...as an app to a animation show.

Hello all! Went to Monsterpalooza earlier today...which was held at the Burbank Marriot Hotel. It was a very cool turn out this year...granted I only went today which was a Sunday and this convention is a three day event.
Here's a few pics that took from my iPhone...I'll upload more later.
I really dug what was shown in the gallery and on the floor, so much talent! I feel such a slacker compared to these folks. :P
