Little Edward

Hey All, Here's a drawing I did in my San Francisco sketchbook...of Little Edward Scissorhands. Done in straight pencils and inks for the line art. I added grey and blue tones with markers. Let me know what you think? I'm a fan of this Tim Burton movie...I totally remember going the the theatre all those many years to see this film....man I'm old. :P

Doodle on a Barf Bag

Hey All! Here's a close up of a scan of sketches I did on a China Eastern Barf Bag....in the airline's term a...CLEAN Bag. The doodles are of my character Delgado for Backspace. Let me know what you thing? I thing one can do doodles on anything that would make sense.

This piece was done with straight pencils; blue Col-erase pencils and HB lead from my mechanical pencils.

Xtra Death Race sketches.

Hey all!

Just wanted to upload a page from my sketchbook that I finished up.
I started on this page in Shanghai for the group doodle session I had with the art team at Trigger.
Now I had sometime to finish it up....and now I'm showing it to all of you.
Let me know what you think?

This Wednesday I go back in teaching my class...hopefully all the students will have their 60 pages of rough sketches ready for me to look over...we will need to pick 6 character designs to take to the next step to develop further.

A doodle session...

Here's some photos of a doodle session I did with the Trigger art team. They're a great bunch of guys and gal. :P

I do have to say they're all very talented...It was an honored for me to do a lesson with them. I expect great things from all of them. Maybe one of these days I'll go back to Shanghai and do more art lessons.

Shanghai doodles...

Hello all! I'm here in Shanghai, China...been here well over a week. Here's some doodles I did while here. It's such a cool town. Met some very cool folks here. New term

Hey all! Just started a new class for the term. Here's three pages I did as demo during class. Wanted to show the students in the directions I wanted their sketches to be for the first three weeks....I want nice and loose.
