Some new doodles of...

Hello all, how's it going with you all? Just wanted to share some scribbles from one of my
sketchbooks. These were done for a possible client...let see if they go for it once I color one of them?

If any of you have any questions about my work or my process, please feel free to ask. I'll catch you all later. Remember...draw...draw...DRAW!!!

Late,
Axel

Doodle time...

Here's a scan from my SF#2 sketchbook for all of you to check out....let me know what you think?

Just been trying to work away this past week...it's been a bit rough...so hopefully, it's gonna be good this coming week. Get all my stuff knocked out.

I'll catch you all later.

Cheers,
Axel

A page from my Sketchbook...

Hey all, how are you all doing? Hopefully well...and trucking along. How about the U.S. being downgraded to AA from a AAA rating? I think it's sad...we're a bunch of losers in this country. Being born and raised here in the U S of A...I will lump myself with the good and the BAD coming from this country....now the stock market has took a dive...by 600+ points...oh joy.

I wanted to upload a page from my new sketchbook for all of you to check out....let me know what you all think? Good....OK....or shit?

No matter what happens in the past few days, weeks, months, years in this world we live in.... Keep on drawing...stay creative!

Take care,
Axel

Doodling it up...

Hey all, wanted to upload a page out of my new sketchbooks....let me know what you all think?
It's all done in straight pens.

Will be doing a bit of work this weekend to catch up for the time taken for Comic con.

I'll catch you all later.

Cheers,
Axel

Where and....there?

Here's a piece I scanned from my SF#2 sketchbook. Let me know what you all think?
This piece was done using a straight Pilot pen size .25...really small tip.

Hopefully, I'll get all the pages to this sketchbook scanned so I can put it together as a small art book that I can put out there for all of you to get a chance to buy a copy.

Dang, It's already Wednesday...just last week Wednesday I was already in San Diego...man that whole Comic Con experience is such a blur. Need to recover...getting back to work mode...has been slow.

Have a good work week and enjoy the rest of your week.

Cheers,
Axel

Sketch it here and there.

Hey all, hope everyone enjoyed their long July 4th weekend. I enjoyed myself...did bit of work on top of my chilling with family and friends.

Well, I uploaded a new image from my new sketchbook I have....the inside cover plus page #1.
Let me know what you all think of these piece?

Ok...catch you later,

more Critter Doodles

Hope all are having a wonderful day.

Cheers,
axel

Doodling here and...where?

Hey all wanted to share with you a page out of my SF#2 sketchbook for all of you to check out! Let me know what you think? Maybe it could be better. I'm trying to get better...but got lots to work on.
Lately, I'm getting some cool opportunities to work on some interesting projects. But in the same time...I've been getting shot down hard from some folks out there. Some say I need to keep working. My look is too raw and loose. Oh well....what can I do...I can't pleased everyone. :P
Lesson here...keep doing YOUR THING!!! Fuck'em if they don't understand!

I wanna wish you all a great weekend. Please keep doodling and kick some ass!

Take it easy,
axel

Nueva York...cover

Hey everyone! Just wanted to post up the cover to the Nueva York sketchbook...I know my sketchbook/art books are totally overdue...sorry about. Their being worked on as we speak...or breath. :P We'll looking into getting the book printed out before Comic Con. I would like to do a convention or two with new stuff before the year ends. Hope everyone is doing well this week. Catch you all later soon.

Cheers,
Axel

Doodles on the side...

Hey all, how's everyone out there today?

Here's some doodles I have done as warm up sketches this past week....wanted to share.
These were done in pencils on tone paper with white pencil for high lights. I also used a Gel pen for the really WHITE highlight. Let me know what you all think?

I'll catch you all later.

Bedtime Doodles...

Hey all,

Just wanted to upload an image here from my sketchbook titled, "Bedtime Doodles"
From the title you can guess that these sketches that I'm doing in this sketchbook are done in bed...before I go to sleep. I figure it's a cool thing to do before going to sleepy land.
This sketch is done in straight mechanical pencils....sizes .3 and .7 . Then I scanned into my computer and added a bit of color tone by using Sketchbook Pro. Let me know what you all think? Well, I'm almost packed...so I'll be heading out to San Francisco late Wednesday morning. I catch anyone there that happens to make it.

Cheers,
Axel

New Year Doodles

Hey All!
Just wanted to share some drawings from my sketchbooks....my New Year Doodles! I want to wish everyone a safe and fun New Years! Hope everyone start off the new year with a blast and....a purpose. Catch you all later!

Cheers,
Axel

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory remixed

Hey all, these batch of sketches were done as a demo for my kids for the latest class project. I'm having them redesign the characters of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. I'm having them keep their sketches nice and loose for the first two weeks. So far the kids are doing a very good job. Hopefully, by the end of this project I'll get some kick ass final pieces! I'll catch you all later.
